In Shimizuyama no Mori, a public park established by Nerima Ward, Tokyo, the dogtooth violets that have been growing wild are reaching their peak season. The pale violet flowers are a pleasing sight to all who visit the park.

According to the ward government, within the roughly 10,000 square meter park, about 10,000 dogtooth violet roots have been allowed to grow wild and it is said to be one of the most prominent mass of flowers within the 23 wards.

On Sunday, a day when the temperature had risen, the roughly 10 centimeter high flowers beautifully blossomed, so these flowers can be enjoyed on days when the weather is clear.
