Actor Pedro Pascal has shared his support for his sister Lux after she came out publicly as a transgender woman.
She appeared on the front cover of the Spanish-language magazine Ya, for which she also gave an interview announcing her transition.
Posting on Instagram, The Mandalorian star Pascal shared a picture of the magazine's cover, alongside the phrase: "Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux." The phrase translates into English as: "My sister, my heart, our Lux."
Lux Pascal, 28, is an actor, currently studying at the renowned Julliard School in New York City.
In the interview, she said [according to People]: "My transition has been something that's very natural for everyone in my family. It's almost something that they expected to happen."
She added that her brother "has been an important part of this".
"He's also an artist and has served as a guide for me," she said. "He was one of the first people to gift me the tools that started shaping my identity."
The interview also says that Lux had previously come out as non-binary.
"Moving through the world as a woman is much more simple for me, but I still advocate for nonbinary identities to have a space in society," she said.
As well as starring in the Disney Plus Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian, Pascal also recently featured in the DC Comics sequel Wonder Woman 1984.
