‘Pedophiles and predators stick together’: Trump deliberates on pardoning Diddy, calls him ‘ half innocent’

All kinds of criminals have the unwavering support of United States President Donald Trump and his Republican buddies. However, sex offenders and pedophiles appear to be at the top of that list.
After Trump recently granted clemency to fraudster and convicted felon George Santos, an interview from approximately 2 months ago, which has been doing the rounds on social media, has everyone questioning Trump’s decision-making skills.

In a clip shared from the conversation with Newsmax extensively on X (formerly Twitter), Trump can be seen working out the logistics of pardoning sex offender Sean Diddy Combs, more than a month before he was sentenced to 50 months in prison on two counts of transportation for prostitution. Discussing the grounds on which Diddy could be eligible to walk away scott-free, Trump noted that he was “essentially half-innocent.” If this logic wasn’t obnoxious enough to excuse a sex offender, he also said that Diddy was a “very nice” guy who was “very friendly” with him and got along with him “great.”

He then retraced his stance on the Diddy and highlighted that he wasn’t too keen on exonerating him based on the “very hostile” things he said when Trump was contesting in the presidential elections, noting that it makes it “more difficult to do”.

Those who watched the clip of this very uncomfortable and problematic interview, of course, did not remain quiet. They took turns to bash Trump and his allies. On X, one person rightfully noted Trump’s apologist behaviour and wrote:

“Pedophiles and sexual predators stick together, right?”

Another person echoed a similar sentiment and said, “This is the most pro-pedophile and pro-sexual assault administration in history,” while several others agreed.

Given that Donald Trump was reportedly one of sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s prominent clients and his name appeared in Epstein’s notorious files, it is not surprising that someone accused of crimes would want to defend others who have committed similar offences. God bless America.
