Pedestrians hit by car at Adelaide Airport in what police believe was an accident

Two men and a primary-school-aged boy have been taken to hospital after a car accident at Adelaide Airport's drop-off zone.

Police said their lives were not in danger.

A number of cars have also been damaged.

Police said the incident happened at 5:15pm and appeared to be the result of a medical episode which happened to a man driving a Toyota sedan, which they said mounted the walkway at the entrance of the passenger drop off/pick up point on Sir Richard Williams Avenue.

They said the car struck the pedestrians, before it hit several cars and came to a stop.

The area was partially-closed, causing delays for traffic at the airport, but has since re-opened.
