A woman sustained injuries to her head and face after being struck by a car during the early hours of this morning.
Police say the incident happened on Ormeau Avenue at around 1.30am on Saturday February 29.
The Ambulance Service and PSNI were on the scene, and traffic was diverted while the incident was ongoing.
A PSNI spokesperson added: "A woman sustained a cut to her head and bruising to her face after she was struck by a car on Ormeau Avenue around 1.30am this morning, Saturday 29 February.
"She was taken to hospital for treatment."
