Pedestrian seriously injured in Easter Sunday crash in Leeds

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was knocked down in a serious road collision on Easter Sunday.

The incident  occurred at around 9:45pm on Roseville Road in Harehills, between the junctions of Bayswater Road and Gledhow Terrace.

The car, a black Renault Clio, was travelling from the Bayswater Road junction in the direction of Gledhow Terrace.

Police say that a collision occurred between the car and a 31-year-old male pedestrian.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for medical treatment.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any further information is asked to contact the police via 101 quoting crime reference number 13190205254 or information can be passed to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
