A pedestrian has been seriously injured following a hit-and-run in Bolton.
The incident, involving a grey Nissan Micra, happened on Higher Swan Lane last night.
The car was later found burnt out.
Police issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward just before 5am this morning.
In a statement, Greater Manchester Police said: “We are investigating a serious injury collision that occurred on Higher Swan Lane, involving a Grey Nissan Micra VRM DY03AXP and a pedestrian.
“The Nissan was later found burnt out.
“Any witnesses or dash cam footage are asked to email 03938@gmp.police.uk.”
