Pedestrian rushed to hospital after crash involving motorcycle in Clifton

A pedestrian has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries and a Nottingham road has been closed following a crash involving a motorcycle.

Southchurch Drive in Clifton is closed between its junctions with Green Lane and Lanthwaite Road following the collision at around 4.45pm on Sunday, October 11.

The pedestrian, a man, has been taken to hospital with "serious injuries", Nottinghamshire Police confirmed.

The force also said the road closure is affecting bus and tram services in the area.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 507 of 11 October 2020.
