A busy road in the West End of Glasgow was closed for almost five hours after a pedestrian was knocked down by a vehicle.
Emergency services raced to Great Western Road, around 5.30pm on Friday, following reports of a crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.
The Scottish Ambulance Service are believed to have attended the scene alongside Police Scotland and the pedestrian - a man - was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Great Western Road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident on January 6. The road re-opened almost five hours later, at 10.20pm.
