Road users in Glasgow experienced travel disruption this morning due to a pedestrian on the motorway.
Traffic Scotland reported that the M73 motorway is restricted in both directions at Junction 2 (Baillieston).
The incident was first reported at 9.52am and Traffic Scotland has confirmed that it involves a pedestrian, commenting: “All lanes restricted in both directions”.
Traffic Scotland are advising that the motorway has now been cleared.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Officers attended the scene and there were no signs of anyone on the carriageway".
