Pedestrian injured in 'serious' motorbike crash in Clydebank

A pedestrian has been struck by a motorbike in a serious crash in Clydebank.

Police were called to Mountblow Road in the Dalmuir area of the town at around 4.05pm this afternoon.

Pictures from the scene show a number of police vehicles behind a cordon on the street.

Officers moved swiftly to close the road.

The condition of those injured in the crash is unknown.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We were called around 4.05pm to a report of a serious crash involving a motorbike and a pedestrian in Mountblow Road, Clydebank, on Tuesday, January 28.

"The ambulance service is in attendance.”

Scottish Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
