A pedestrian is in a critical condition in hospital after being involved in a collision in Bridgend .
A 68-year-old man was seriously injured following the collision in Tondu Road at around 7pm on Thursday which involved a white Ford Eco Sport.
He was taken to hospital where his condition is described as "critical".
Tondu Road was closed for four hours for investigation work to be carried out but was reopened around 11pm.
South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to come forward or anyone who may have dash cam footage or witnessed the manner of the vehicle's driving prior to the collision.
