Pedestrian hit by car in Aberdeen as police rush to scene

Police have rushed to the scene of a crash between a car and a pedestrian in Aberdeen.

The incident occurred around 10.30am this morning on Hutcheon Gardens in the Bridge of Don area.

The road has been shut while investigations are carried out.

There is no detail of any injuries cause from the incident at this time.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: Around 10.40am on Friday, 18 June, we received a report of a crash involving a car and a woman pedestrian on Hutcheon Gardens in Bridge of Don.

“Emergency services are in attendance and the road is currently closed.”
