
A pedestrian was hit by a car at Bonnells Bay in south-west Lake Macquarie at 10.30pm on Friday.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the scene, where a 68-year-old man had sustained numerous non-life threatening injuries.
NSW Ambulance paramedics and the helicopter critical care medical team treated the man before he was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
