A road is currently closed after a pedestrian was hit by a car.
Merseyside Police rushed to the scene of a crash on Weldon Road in Walton after reports of a pedestrian being hit by a car.
Officers have now put a cordon in place and closed the road, which is just off County Road, to passing cars.

Residents on the street are able to move in and out of the cordon.
One unmarked police car and officers remain at the scene.
The extent of the person's injuries are not currently known.
