A man his died in hospital two weeks after a road traffic collision in Dunmurry.
The male, who was a pedestrian, was left in a critical condition on hospital following the crash on Kingsway on Boxing Day, December 26, 2019.
Police have today confirmed the man passed away in hospital yesterday, January 9.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police can confirm that a male pedestrian sadly passed away in hospital yesterday, Thursday 09 January, due to injuries sustained in a road traffic collision on Kingsway in Dunmurry on Thursday 26 December.
"Police received a report at around 6.20pm that a silver Chrysler Ypsilon car had been in collision with the male pedestrian near the junction with Kingsway.
"The police investigation is continuing and officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dash-cam footage to contact them in Woodbourne on 101 quoting reference number 1003 26/12/19."
In Co Tyrone , police have confirmed a 66-year-old has died from her injuries sustained in a collision on Coagh Road area of Dungannon on Wednesday October 2.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police can confirm that 66-year-old Christina Conlon, from the Coalisland area, sadly passed away in hospital on Thursday 9 January due to injuries sustained in a road traffic collision in the Coagh Road area of Dungannon on Wednesday 2 October. The investigation into the collision is ongoing."
