Pecker Confirms Hicks Not At 2015 Trump Tower Meeting

Former U.S. President Trump departs Trump Tower in New York

In a recent court proceeding, there was a discussion between individuals regarding a meeting that took place in August 2015 involving Michael Cohen, Donald Trump, and potentially Hope Hicks. The exchange involved questions posed by one individual, Bove, to another individual, Pecker, about whether Hicks was present at the meeting. This line of questioning was met with objection from Steinglass, and the objection was upheld by Judge Juan Merchan.

Despite the objection, Bove persisted in his line of questioning, seeking confirmation from Pecker that Hicks was not mentioned during a 2018 interview with prosecutors regarding the August 2015 meeting. Pecker requested to review the specific reference being made by Bove, which did not include any mention of Hicks. After reviewing the report from the 2018 interview, Pecker confirmed that he did not inform the government about Hicks' presence at the meeting.

During this exchange, Donald Trump, accompanied by his attorney Todd Blanche, was observed engaging in a private conversation with crossed arms. The focus of the discussion remained on clarifying the details surrounding the August 2015 meeting and the involvement of individuals such as Hicks.
