Upon returning home, his condition deteriorated and he began vomiting before suffering a cardiac arrest.

A post mortem established his death was as the result of natural causes.

However, an inquest was ordered as his family had concerns about his treatment.

On Monday, Coroners officer Catherine Toner told assistant coroner, Katy Dickinson, that the up and coming actor had drug and alcohol issues.

Ms Dickinson adjourned the hearing until September 30.

It read: "On the 29th August 2020 Toby died suddenly at home in Huddersfield aged 48. Beloved son of Philip and Pamela younger brother of Dominic and Sammy. Much loved father to Isabella and dear friend to many.
