Members of the Narrabundah Peafowlers will meet with Transport Minister Chris Steel later this month to discuss traffic concerns in the area.
This follows reports seven peafowl have been killed in Narrabundah and Red Hill since signs warning motorists to be aware of the colourful birds went up in July 2020.
Last month, four peafowl were found dead after cars hit them on Carnegie Crescent and La Perouse Street.
Two birds, known as Pedro and Penny to the Narrabundah community, were killed last week within days of each other.

On Friday, the community group posted an open letter to Mr Steel on their Facebook page, Save the Narrabundah Peafowl, urging the minister to meet with them.
"The situation leading to these deaths serves as a 'mineshaft canary' for the risks associated with traffic flow and speed in our local area," the letter read.
"The location of these deaths is close to Red Hill Primary School.
"We don't want to see a child as the next victim."
The community group took to Facebook to announce that Mr Steel had agreed to meet with them and asked Narrabundah residents for their input.
"This is a unique opportunity for all of us to have an input on informing [the] government on these local issues at the highest level," the post said.
A spokesperson from Mr Steel's office confirmed the minister would meet with the Narrabundah Peafowlers "as is the case with many community groups".
A date for the meeting is yet to be confirmed.
