Peaches Geldof's widower Thomas Cohen's swaps suits for dresses with new 'Sylph' alias

Peaches Geldof's widower Thomas Cohen has undergone an image overhaul.

The 31-year-old musician has been making brave fashion choices and documenting his enviable wardrobe - filled with stunning dresses, silk scarves and trendy sandals - on a social media page with a handle under the name Sylph.

The father of two has also been making music under his new alias and proudly models make-up online on the second Instagram account.

Thomas radiates confidence in the snaps - that date back to 2018 - and seems to be fan of satin and chiffon gowns, embellished hats and jackets and often shares photos of his exquisite jewellery collection.

The offerings showcase Thomas - who is dad to Astala, nine, and eight-year-old Phaedra - with his hair longer than it used to be and shares positive quotes with his followers.

Tom's second Instagram Page is different to his original page that is filled with snaps of him and the children he shared with late wife Peaches.

He has not shared any updates on his original page for seven years.

In 2017, Thomas opened up about the devastating moment he discovered his late wife's body after she died of a heroin overdose in 2014, aged 25.

He told German newspaper Bild: "When I found her, I was not surprised.

"I thought to myself at the moment, 'Yes of course - you had to do that'. What I can remember, it must have been an hour after I've found it, that it's time for the kids' lunch.

"They needed their lunch. So I took the children's chairs to the table, took the yoghurts out of the fridge, the bananas... After that we drove here."

In 2016, he also opened up about his devastation at losing his wife, saying as time went on he refused to give in to grief.

He said: "Firstly, at the time, I was 23. I had two children who needed to be taken care of and, in maybe early June 2014, I started to do that, and we're now here in 2016.

"I just made the decision to start looking after myself and I refused to lose myself and become a traumatised, grief-stricken single father who everyone's going to look at and think and feel all of these things about.

"And that's absolutely fine. However, by this stage, if somebody looks at me like that, then it's just a projection.

"I got to a stage where I thought, 'I don't want to stay in this place any more.' I'm not dissociating, hiding myself or escaping the reality of the situation. However, I'm not staying based in that trauma.

"It's a lot to do with nourishing yourself with the care and love of other people - and seeing that that light was never not there."
