Two PCR test centers opened at Narita Airport on Monday. They are expected to help business travelers obtain a negative certificate for the novel coronavirus before leaving Japan. The test centers were installed in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 and are capable of handling a total of 700 polymerase chain reaction tests per day. A negative certificate can be received within a minimum of about two hours.

Nippon Medical School, which already has a clinic in Terminal 2, will operate the centers 24 hours a day. For the time being, it is expected to be used for business travelers. Anyone can take the test without an advance reservation. The inspection fee ranges from 39,800 yen to 46,500 yen.
