A female police officer performed sex acts on one of her bosses in a bid to please him, a hearing heard.
Ex-sergeant Adam Reed, 40, and PC Jemma Dicks, 28, were found guilty of gross misconduct following the trysts at Cardiff Central police station.
They were accused of bringing the police’s reputation into disrepute after Dicks performed oral sex on Reed on at least three occasions.
A misconduct panel told Dicks she was at risk of being sacked from South Wales Police.
Reed has already quit the force.
Chair Emma Boothroyd said married father-of-two Reed “manipulated” Dicks during their 10-month fling.
Boothroyd added each of the encounters had been “orchestrated” by Reed.
Dicks said she performed the acts to please Reed, believing they were in a relationship.
But she added Reed became abusive and controlling, and Boothroyd said there was an “imbalance” in the relationship, with texts showing Dicks was “in love with Mr Reed and looked up to him”.
