A Cheshire-based consumer technology business has acquired a PC gaming brand whose devices are used to train RAF air cadets and by F1 team Williams' e-sports outfit.
Warrington firm Tactus Group has snapped up Poole-based Chillblast for an undisclosed sum.
The deal comes after the North West company secured a £40m investment in August to boost its plans to become a globally-recognised gaming and computing group.

It has also completed two other deals this year for B2B IT hardware provider (BIST) Group in September and PC Gaming specialists CCL Computers in April.
Tactus specialises in the high growth gaming, education and entry level computing sectors. It holds relationships with global corporate technology businesses such as Microsoft, Amazon, Intel and Best Buy.
