PBMM: Exciting day in store

MUMBAI: With eight top-class runners in the fray, the 33rd edition of the ' Juvenile Derby', the Poonawalla Breeders' Multi-Million (PBMM), promises a great action in store both on and off the track at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse on Sunday.

Ace trainer Pesi Shroff's Supernatural, Dallas Todywalla-schooled Ahead Of My Time and Coeur De Lion, from trainer Narendra Lagad's yard, are expected to make the finish colorful to emerge as the best juvenile in the country.

The Poonawalla brothers, Cyrus and Zavaray, who contributed massively in the charity fund raised by the racing fraternity to keep the sport afloat in the city, are leaving no stone unturned to make the day an unforgettable one for the racing enthusiasts.

There will be a bumper bonanza for the racegoers both in the Members and the Public Enclosures as Rs 50 lakh will be added to the collection of the combined Jackpot Pool.

Apart from offering free refreshment coupons for all the entrants, there will be a lucky draw exclusively in the Public Enclosure which will offer a Honda Shine bike (1st prize) and other attractive prizes.

In the Members Enclosure, en try will be free and the best dressed lady and gentleman will win a chopper ride. An air-condition tent along with food, bar and live musicians have also been planned.
