NEW DELHI: Punjab Kings skipper Shikhar Dhawan won the toss and decided to field first against Delhi Capital in their do-or-die Indian Premier League match at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on Wednesday.
Punjab made two changes to their line-up bringing in Atharva Taide for Rishi Dhawan, while Kagiso Rabada replaced Sikandar Raza.
"We will bowl first. It is a new track. We will see how it goes. Destiny is in our hands. Just gonna come and enjoy this evening. Just to stay calm and focus on your process. We have two changes. Taide and Rabada come in," Dhawan said after winning the toss.
Anrich Nortje and Prithvi Shaw returned for Delhi in place of injured Mitchell Marsh and Praveen Dubey.
"We would have bowled first. There is some dew. It should play the same for the entire 40 overs. We have a great lead up to this game thanks to this spectacular venue. Marsh is injured," Delhi captain David Warner said.
