PayPal issues warning to all customers ahead of new rule changes

PayPal has issued a warning to its customers ahead of new security measures being brought in.

Every person who has a PayPal account must now check their phone number in order to continue being able to use the service.

In order to meet new regulations, PayPal is adding Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) to its login.

This is to enhance security requirements for customers making electronic payments, accessing their account or making changes to their account in order to reduce the risk of fraud.
