“Pay what it takes” - Tottenham fans send Adama Traore message amid Deadline Day rumours

Tottenham fans have sent Fabio Paratici a message to complete the signing of Adama Traore amid deadline day links to the Wolverhampton Wanderers winger.

Alongside Chelsea, Spurs have been rumoured to be considering a move for the ex-Barcelona player.

It was reported that the north London club were considering lodging a loan offer for Traore, with an option to buy coming into force come the end of the 2021/22 season.

That deal was apparently rejected but with deadline day now here, Spurs fans have encouraged the club to pursue Traore once more as Paratici attempts to conclude a busy first summer at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Of course, the move would reunite Traore with the man who originally signed him for Wolves - Nuno Espirito Santo - and Spurs fans are certainly keen to see that relationship rekindled further south after reports suggested that Traore was still eyeing a move in the final hours of the window.

They took to social media early on deadline day to express their feelings on a potential swoop - here are the best of them:

Traore has just two years left on his current deal at Molineux and should Spurs secure a deal for his signature, he would potentially become the club’s sixth addition of the summer window.

Paratici has already agreed deals for Pierluigi Gollini and Cristian Romero from Atalanta, whilst Bryan Gil and Pape Matarr Sarr were signed from Sevilla and Metz, respectively.

Meanwhile, the club also look extremely likely to secure at least one transfer on deadline day with a deal having reportedly been agreed for Barcelona defender Emerson Royal.
