Specialist marketing agency Mabo has set up its first branch office under team manager Phoebe Holford.
The pay-per-click (PPC) firm launched in Middlesbrough in 2013 will serve existing clients and seek new business north of the border form its new base in Bath Street. The firm intends to build a team of 10 there, including account manager Jonathan Lott.
Mabo employs more than 50 people and expects to expand to more than 100 across Glasgow and its head office on Teesside. Clients include Boomf, Totes and New Era.
Founder and managing director Lee Mabelson said: “Glasgow has similar aspirations as Mabo in the digital world - it wants to become a powerhouse and with those visions matching we see ourselves fitting in nicely. We offer an award-winning PPC service as well as other forms of digital marketing which has seen us grow progressively since we began nearly seven years ago.
“Glasgow has great infrastructure and some great businesses we're looking to engage and provide a tailored localised service to. This is our first office outside of our HQ and we're excited to see it succeed with existing, key staff in place.”
Holford has moved from the north east of England to to head up thee new office. She said: “I’m very excited to be here and take the lead in Mabo’s new chapter. Glasgow has a lot to offer and the Spaces offices have a vibrant working atmosphere, so we are settling in very well."
