This is big: New Orleans Saints cornerback Paulson Adebo has been recognized as the NFC Defensive Player of the Week after his huge game against the Chicago Bears. Adebo came away with three turnovers on the afternoon, intercepting two passes while forcing and recovering a fumble.
It was a very impressive performance, and Adebo is rightfully being applauded for his role in the Saints’ win over Chicago. He’s put together several productive games in a row now and is rapidly becoming a player the New Orleans can rely on in the secondary.
He’ll be facing another big challenge on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, whose quarterback Joshua Dobbs was also highlighted as the NFC Offensive Player of the Week after rallying his team to a last-minute win against the Atlanta Falcons. The Saints will need another strong outing from Adebo to leave Minnesota with a win on Sunday.
