Paulo Gazzaniga interest, Ousmane Dembele Barcelona exit and other Liverpool transfer rumours rated

Liverpool continue to be linked with a host of players, as the transfer window comes into its final days.

After deals for Thiago and Diogo Jota and Kostas Tsmikas, the focus is now expected to switch to outgoings.

But as fresh rumours about the potential new Anfield arrivals continue to surface, we have taken a look at the latest pieces of gossip to see what they could mean for the Reds.

Who?

Ousmane Dembele.

Where?

Spanish publication SPORT is reporting that Ronald Koeman is ready to usher the forward towards the exit door.

What?

Barcelona are prepared to offload Ousmane Dembele before the transfer window shuts.

The report claims the reason behind the move is because the emergence of Ansu Fati and the return of Philippe Coutinho is set to further hinder Dembele’s opportunities.

The former Dortmund reportedly rejected a move to Liverpool earlier this summer and continues to be linked with Manchester United ahead of tonight’s deadline.

Who?

Paulo Gazzaniga.

Where?

Kevin Palmer of the Sunday World is reporting that Liverpool are looking at the Spurs keeper as Caoimhín Kelleher could possibly head out on loan.

What?

With Alisson set to be out for six weeks and Adrian having made another costly mistake yesterday, it is easy to see why the club are being linked with a new goalkeeper.

It is also very possible that the Reds may want to send Kelleher out on loan in order to secure regular game time at first team level.

However, it is hard to see the goalkeeper coming in to replace him is Gazzaniga. The Spurs man has found regular first team football hard to come by in recent seasons and many may argue that he is not an upgrade on Adrian.

Who?

Marko Grujic.

Where?

Hertha Berlin sporting director Michael Preetz has admitted that his club have had contact with Liverpool over a deal happening.

What?

Speaking to Sky Deutschland, Preetz said: “It is clear that we have contact.

“He was with us for two years.

“As with many other topics, it is also a question of the details here.”

Grujic made a total of 54 appearances for Hertha Berlin over the course of his loan spell and is likely to leave Liverpool today.

Given the quality Jurgen Klopp has at his disposal in the middle of the pitch, game time is likely to be limited for the Serbian, who would probably benefit from a move away from the club.
