Paulo Dybala to Arsenal transfer: Edu opens talks, Inter twist, Marquinhos impact, Spurs offer

Paulo Dybala has confirmed that he will leave Juventus at the end of the season once his contract with the Old Lady expires in the summer. The 28-year-old, who has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham in recent times, announced his decision to part ways with the Italian giants, via a heartfelt message on Twitter.

Before Christmas, Dybala had previously agreed a five-year extension with the Italian giants worth £6.8 million-per-year, according to 90Min. Though months later, Juventus reportedly moved the goalposts and offered the forward a revised contract to which he rebuffed.

Since arriving in Turin, he's become one of the most coveted players in Europe and has been central to much of the Old Lady's success. Dybala, who's relished a vice-captaincy role at the club lately, has featured 291 times for Juventus, directly contributing towards 163 goals - he's also won five Serie A titles, four Coppa Italia and three Supercoppa Italiana.

His impressive displays have brought him close to joining Manchester United and Tottenham in the past, though Arsenal now have the chance to seize their rivals' missed opportunity. Dybala is available for free as the Gunners' search for a new striker continues ahead of the summer window.

Edu opens talks

Back in March, it was reported by Italian news outlet Tuttomercatoweb that the north London outfit had opened talks with the Argentina international's representatives with the view to bringing him to the Emirates Stadium on a free transfer after his contract with Juventus expires in June.

And, more recently, Football Italia have claimed that Dybala's agent, Jorge Antun, is currently in London to discuss a potential move with interested Premier League clubs, including Arsenal. This development comes amid talk of Inter Milan leading the race to sign the 28-year-old.

Inter Milan twist

According to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Dybala has decided to join Inter Milan. The report claims that the Argentine is set to pen a four-year deal with Nerazzurri worth £5m-per-annum, making him the joint-highest earner alongside former Arsenal transfer target Lautaro Martinez and Marcelo Brozovic.

Marquinhos impact

Arsenal have agreed to sign Sao Paulo winger Marquinhos, football.london understands. After extensive talks with Gunners technical director Edu, the talented 19-year-old will join the club this summer.

However, Marquinhos' arrival in north London will not have any impact on the club's summer transfer plans, with Jesus still remaining a target. In fact, football.london understands that Arsenal remain confident of sealing a deal for the City forward, with 'positive' talks ongoing between his representative and Edu.

Spurs table offer

An Italian journalist has claimed that Spurs have made an offer for Dybala. Tottenham's managing director of football, Fabio Paratici, signed the Argentine for Juventus and reportedly remains close with the player. Dybala has not yet made a decision but is considering Spurs as one of his options, the report claims.
