Paulo Dybala reveals what Cristiano Ronaldo is really like in Juventus dressing room

Paulo Dybala has revealed he never thought he’d get the chance to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo - and is now enjoying having the Portuguese star in the Juventus dressing room.

Ronaldo has made an immediate impact at Juve, helping the Italian giants secure their eighth successive Serie A title over the weekend.

His arrival has ultimately forced Dybala to settle for an unfamiliar role on the wing, and the Argentine has somewhat struggled this season.

But nevertheless, the striker is enjoying his time learning from the former Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar.

And he has also opened up on what Ronaldo is like in the dressing room, suggesting the 34-year-old has settled quickly in Turin.

Dybala told Corriere della Sera : “No-one imagined it, not even us.

“We thought it was just a newspaper headline. Seeing him up close, Cristiano is a simple guy.

“He has its image, character and way of being on the field, but inside the dressing room he’s like the others and he likes to joke with everyone.”

Dybala, who has managed just five league goals for Juve this season, also opened up on his ‘rollercoaster’ career so far.

He added: “The life of a player is like a rollercoaster: one day you’re the best, the next you’re useless. Finding a balance isn’t always easy.

“It happens to everyone, even champions like Messi and Ronaldo: after what they did in their careers, they’re still criticised.

“When the directors proposed the No 10 to me I thought about it, but you can’t refuse such an offer. “For me it is an honour and a responsibility: I have to show that I deserve it every day.

“I like to change, do new things, set short and long-term objectives. We must find the courage to go beyond our limits.”
