Paulo Dybala reveals bizarre place he signed his Juventus contract

Paulo Dybala secured his dream move back in 2015 - and there couldn’t have a been a better place for the Argentine to put pen-to-paper on his first Juventus contract.

The 25-year-old, known as the Jewel for his pace, technique and scoring prowess, has played a pivotal role for Juventus since joining them from Palermo three years ago.

Dybala has netted 77 times and provided 31 assists in his 175 appearances for the Italian giants, though he has been forced to play out of position for much of this season following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo .

But that doesn’t take anything away from his dream of playing for Juventus, and he has admitted his contract arrived while he was putting his feet up on the beach.

Speaking to Otro , he said: "I used to play for the Instituto de Cordoba and it was against Huracan. 2-0 for us. There were family and friends, they were more anxious than I.

“At 17 I was agitated, it wasn't easy but my teammates and staff helped me a lot, and the contract with Juve was a special day.

“With my brother, with my friends, the contract had arrived while I was at the beach. I signed it and went back to sunbathing."

The Argentina international also revealed his childhood football heroes growing up, with two Brazilian icons in particular inspiring him.

He added: "I didn't think I would have had such a career, the one I am living as a football player.

“As a child I followed football, I played it because I enjoyed it. With friends, we wanted to be Ronaldinho, (Brazilian) Ronaldo. But I never thought this.

"Today I do the maximum otherwise I don't become anyone. I didn't think about it, not even when the first years as a professional came in. My debut, will never forget it.”
