Paulo Dybala Liverpool transfer links lead to warning from fans

Liverpool fans have been reacting on social media to reports that their club is eyeing a move for Paulo Dybala this summer.

Reports from across Europe have claimed that Juventus are preparing themselves for a bid from the Reds for the Argentine forward in the upcoming transfer window.

Dybala scored 11 and assisted 11 for Juventus last season as they won the Italian league title and was named Serie A Player of the Season ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo.

One report from Spain on Sunday claimed Liverpool will 'bid strongly' for the 27-year-old, with a fee of £60m mentioned.

However, that fee seems rather steep given the forward’s contract with the reigning Serie A champions will have just 12 months remaining on it come the summer.

But that hasn’t stopped Reds fans from reacting to the reports on Twitter, and many have mixed views on the thought of Dybala moving to Anfield this summer.

While speaking recently, Juventus director Fabio Paratici revealed that the club are negotiating a new deal with Dybala, but nothing is concrete yet.

"Paulo still has a few problems - it's like he's on a swing," Paratici told reporters last month when asked for an update on Dybala’s future with the club.

"Some days he's better and others he's worse. He seemed okay [last week], then he felt some pain again.

"We have spoken [about this contract], we have been speaking and will continue to speak in the next few days and months."
