Pauline Quirke cropped out of Lesley Joseph's Birds of a Feather pic after 'cast row'

Pauline Quirke was savagely cropped out of a Birds of a Feather cast photo amid reports of a feud between the show's stars.

Lesley Joseph, who plays Dorien Green in the sitcom, took to her Instagram account late last year to post a picture of herself with her co-star Linda Robson, who plays Tracey Stubbs.

Whoever cropped the photo, which was posted to promote last year's BOFA Christmas special which Pauline didn't appear in, only left a tiny bit of Pauline's face in, but she's still visible in the shot.

Lesley captioned the post: "CONFIRMED: Birds Of A Feather is returning this Christmas for a one-off episode starring Les Dennis as Dorian's new fella..

"But Pauline Quirke will NOT appear as she’s taking a step back from acting!"

Lesley's followers commented on the photo sharing their sadness that Pauline, who plays Sharon Theodopolopodous, wouldn't appear in the special.

One wrote: "Best news ever. Can’t wait, shame that Pauline isn't returning."

"It won't be right without Sharon," another commented.

A third agreed: "Can't wait, it won't be the same without Pauline."

The Mirror has contacted reps for Lesley and Pauline and is awaiting comment.

It's alleged that Pauline had a huge falling out with Lesley and Linda Robson, leading to a divide amongst the cast.

Pauline starred in Birds Of A Feather for its full run from 1988 until 1998, and came back again for the reboot that aired between 2014 and 2017.

She was allegedly "not asked" to join the 2020 Christmas special.
