Paulie Malignaggi says Conor McGregor will 'get his a** kicked again' by Dustin Poirier in trilogy fight

Paulie Malignaggi has given his prediction for Conor McGregor's trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier on July 10 - claiming that the Dubliner will 'get his a** kicked again'.

McGregor was downed in the second round of their UFC 257 bout in January, succumbing to a KO loss at the hands of the Louisiana lightweight.

And McGregor's long-time bitter rival Malignaggi has weighed in on the eagerly anticipated UFC 264 bout, labelling McGregor a 'piñata' in other fighters' eyes.

"I think he's [Conor McGregor] is probably going to get his a-- kicked again, to be honest," Malignaggi said.

"But that's okay because they [the fans] will tell you that he wasn't focused again, they'll tell you it's because he just sold his whiskey for $600 million.

"Conor has really built a reputation...the pinata himself... you get a prize for beating him up."

The pair's bad blood goes way back to 2017 after the former two weight boxing world champion was brought into McGregor's camp to prepare for a money-spinning Floyd Mayweather bout.

But after a roughed-up sparring session, the pair parted ways and have been locked in a bitter war of words ever since.

There's no love lost between Malignaggi and some of McGregor's teammates as well, the American lost to Artem Lobov in a bare-knuckle boxing match in 2019.
