Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow is remembering her father on what would have been his 47th birthday.
On Saturday, the 21-year-old shared a photo of herself and her late father from when she was a toddler.
“The moment I realised we are twins. Happy birthday to the most beautiful soul,” Meadow captioned the photo showing her in her father’s arms.
The emotional tribute prompted an outpouring of messages from her followers, who also remembered The Fast and Furious star, who died in a car crash in November 2013 at the age of 40.
“Love you Meadow! Happy Happy Born Day to the greatest soul!” model Ashley Moore wrote.
Actress Jordana Brewster commented: “The most beautiful.”
Meadow, a model, also said in another Instagram post that she would be honouring her father’s birthday with her “annual do good challenge”.
Sharing a photo of herself and a friend, she wrote: “My friendships are my foundation. They are my family. Tell your friends you love them and acknowledge them for standing by your side no matter what,” before tagging additional people on Instagram and encouraging them to “share a random act of kindness”.
In April, the actor’s daughter, who keeps her father’s legacy alive through the Paul Walker Foundation, also reflected on her memories with him on Instagram, where she shared previously unseen footage of Walker.
In the clip, a young Meadow can be seen surprising her father on his birthday by bursting into what appears to be his bedroom, prompting him to say while laughing: “You just scared the hell out of me!”
“I never thought I’d share this. But it felt right. Be good. I love you. Stay safe. Xx,” Meadow captioned the clip.
She also shared a throwback photo of Walker with his hair tied in ponytails in May, captioning the photo: “This kind of sunshine is hard to find, my best friend forever.”
Meadow spent most of her childhood living in Hawaii with her mother Rebecca Soteros. She later moved to California to live with her father a year before his death.
According to Walker’s brother Cody, the actor was “so proud” of his daughter.
“He loved being a dad. He was so proud of her,” he previously told People.
