Paul Scholes delivers Man United top four prediction amid Chelsea and Leicester City fight

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes insists that his old side will still make the Premier League top four despite suffering a blow on Monday night.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men were held to a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford which left the Reds in fifth, level with Leicester City but behind on goals difference and one point adrift of Chelsea, with three games left for all of those sides.

The Blues host Norwich City this evening as they hope to take a big step towards Champions League qualification.

Whilst the draw for United was a dent to their hopes, given the poor form of both Chelsea and Leicester of late, Scholes is still backing Solskjaer's side to secure a spot in the prestigious European competition for next season.

"I don't think it's changed that much," Scholes told Premier League Productions. "Obviously they would have liked to have won the game and get into the top three. But they've still got to win the games.

"Even if they'd won three or 4-1, it didn't really matter. They've still got to beat Crystal Palace, West Ham, and then Leicester. I still think that's the case.

"Leicester will be a difficult game, we know that, but it's exciting until the end of the season for neutrals to watch."

Chelsea finish the league season with tonight's game against Norwich and clashes with Liverpool and Wolves.

United face Crystal Palace, West Ham and Leicester, while the Foxes meet Sheffield United, Tottenham and the Reds.
