Paul Pogba urged Manchester United to become “bad losers” and build a ruthless mentality ahead of their Champions League group stage decider against RB Leipzig.
Pogba’s stunning equaliser sparked United’s comeback against West Ham on Saturday, with a fourth successive Premier League victory seeing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side rise up to fifth in the table.
However, United’s European hopes are hanging in the balance after a 3-1 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain, with three teams in the group level on nine points with one game remaining.

Speaking after their win against West Ham, Pogba said that United must maintain the mental fortitude that’s recently enabled the club to successfully battle back from behind.
“It has to be inside. I mean, always. We cannot afford to lose and be happy with a loss or a draw,” he said.
"We have to be bad losers - that's what we have to be - and always want to win. Even 1-0 or 6-5, we have to win. That's what we want.
"We have Champions League [against Leipzig] and we have City. We know that those are two very important games, decisive games.
“We have to carry on this mentality of winning, always. That's what the club is about and we want to carry on this and what we did in the second half [against West Ham].”
