Paul Pogba trolls Man Utd teammate Phil Jones before immediately issuing apology

Paul Pogba has joked that his Manchester United team-mate Phil Jones is the player most likely to score an own goal.

The Blackburn academy graduate has been at Old Trafford since moving from Ewood Park in 2011.

But he has failed to establish himself in the United defence and been prone to an error or two.

"Who’s most likely to score a bizarre own-goal? It’s not nice to say but, Phil Jones. Phil Jones, sorry," Pogba told Sport Bible.

Jones is below the likes of Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly in the pecking order at United.

Despite that he has made 224 appearances for the Red Devils, although he may not take too kindly to Pogba's comments.

The Frenchman is a popular member of the squad at Carrington, but doubts over his future continue to hang over the team.

He and agent Mino Raiola have made comments throughout the season which suggest he sees his future elsewhere.

Last summer The Frenchman said he saw his future elsewhere with Real Madrid and Juventus among his likely suitors.

“Like you said, there is a lot of talking and a lot of thinking as well,” he told reporters.

“For me I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else.

“After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well... I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.”

“I am thinking of this: to have a new challenge somewhere else.”

Pogba has spent much of the season out injured while the recent arrival of Bruno Fernandes has eased fears about the World Cup winner departing.
