French midfielder Paul Pogba could be set to stay at Manchester United after agent Mino Raiola changed tack.
His representative has been pushing hard for a move away from Old Trafford and the English Premier League with Real Madrid and Juventus the two most obvious destinations.
But it will all depend on whether he believes United can become the dominant force down south under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that they once were.
Raiola even proposed a straight swap of Pogba for former Chelsea star Eden Hazard, who has become one of the biggest transfer flops in recent years at the Bernabeu, but now insists the door is not yet closed on staying.
Raiola told AS: "Pogba’s future? The most important thing now is to know what Man United wants, what project they’re proposing.
"He’s interested in one thing: winning the Champions League and titles, we are going to see where this is possible, if at United or at other clubs.
"Pogba to Real Madrid? It’s difficult. But impossible is nothing.
"What if Real offer a Hazard-Pogba swap? It’s just an example. And if all parties like it, why not? Playing for Real was always very attractive for Pogba because of his idol Zidane too."
