Paul Pogba has sent Manchester United fans' pulses racing with a message to Jadon Sancho after the duo starred in an advert for Pepsi.
The hope that Sancho might one day team up with Pogba at Old Trafford is enough to get any United supporter excited - and fans have been given a taster of that dream.
Sancho has been the club's top target in recent years but they have failed to sign him in three previous attempts. The latest came last summer when, despite agreeing terms with the England international, United were unable to tempt Dortmund to lowering their asking price.
Pogba, meanwhile, has looked increasingly more settled in Manchester of late despite question marks over his own future - and the pair have finally been able to team up.
While it may not yet be in United colours, the latest Pepsi advert has paired Sancho and World Cup winner Pogba together in something of a teaser to the red half of the city.
French midfielder Pogba, too, couldn't resist posting a cheeky message on social media, explaining: "Finally on the same team @Sanchooo10 - the @PepsiGlobal team!"
After three failed attempts to sign Sancho, fans were left disappointed when the 20-year-old - capped 18 times by England - didn't arrive at Old Trafford last summer.
However, with the summer transfer window just around the corner, they haven't given up hope yet of landing the winger. And now, Pogba has given the United fans a cheeky nudge of what there could be look forward to at Old Trafford.
Sancho, who has scored three times for England since making his international debut in 2018, is closing in on a 100th appearance for Dortmund in the Bundesliga - with the winger scoring 36 goals in 99 top-flight games in Germany.
