Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has suggested he could return to Juventus when his contract expires next summer.
Pogba’s future is uncertain and has been the subject of much speculation recently, with his United contract set to run out in June 2022.
The 28-year-old has been offered a new deal, but has yet to commit to United and would be able to negotiate with other clubs in January to arrange a summer move as a free agent.
As Mirror Sport exclusively revealed , United want his future cleared up by Christmas and have offered him a deal worth around £400,000 a week.
Pogba is yet to speak publicly about the subject, but L'Equipe reported this week that he is making no secret of his desire to stay at United and is now informing friends that he wants a new deal.

Meanwhile, the MEN claim the fact that United are accustomed to long-running transfer sagas means they are not worried about losing Pogba at this stage.
Perhaps the club might be worried when they read what he said when asked about a possible return to Juventus after France’s stunning 3-2 comeback win over Belgium in the Nations League semi-final in Turin on Thursday night.
“I like Turin!” Pogba replied when Sport Mediaset put it to him that many Juventus fans would like to see him return to Turin.
“I always speak with former Juve team-mates like [Paulo] Dybala. I’m in Manchester now, I’m under contract until June then let’s see. I want to complete this season at the best level, then we will see.”
Juventus are not the only club rumoured to be interested in signing Pogba for free next year.
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have both been strongly linked with the France international, who could find himself at the heart of a bidding war.

While it was Real who appeared the most likely destination when the summer transfer window was still open, Juve have now cropped up more than once recently, with Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, also mentioning them.
“Pogba's contract expires next year. We will talk to Manchester (United) and see,” Raiola said last month.
"For sure Turin has remained in his heart and he cares a lot about these things. The possibility of returning to Juventus is there but it also depends on Juve."
If Pogba is frustrated by the lack of trophies at United - they have not won a title since 2017 - then Juventus might not be the best bet currently.
Juve finished fourth in Serie A last season and have made a slow start to this one, sitting seventh, 10 points behind leaders Napoli after seven matches.
However, Max Allegri’s side do have a perfect record in the Champions League so far, having beaten Malmo and Chelsea in Group H.
