Paul Pogba sent transfer message by Manchester United teammate

Andreas Pereira hopes Paul Pogba will make 'make the best choice' for his future in the summer transfer window.

Pogba, 28, continues to be linked with a move away from Manchester United as he enters the final year of his current deal at Old Trafford.

The French midfielder will be free to negotiate with European clubs if he has not signed a new deal by January as United risk losing their club-record signing on a free.

United teammate Pereira is one player looking to leave Old Trafford in the current window and he is hoping Pogba finds the right solution for him and his family.

When quizzed on the future of his fellow midfielder Pereira told TNT Sports: “(Laughs)…I hope he makes the best choice for himself and his family. He deserves the best things in the world, he’s an amazing guy.”

Paris Saint-Germain are the favourites to complete a move for Pogba this summer but manager Mauricio Pochettino chose to remain coy when he was quizzed on their interest in the United man.

"I won’t give any names, I don’t like to speak about players who belong to other clubs," he told Le Parisien.

"The club is working away quietly, achieving some good things. At the end of the window, we’ll see who the new players are – if there are any – and which players leave the squad."
