Paul Pogba sends message to Manchester United critics as midfielder picks best moment of his career

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has described winning the World Cup as the best moment in his career so far, and has stated he wants to silence his critics.

Pogba’s future at Old Trafford has been a constant source of debate, with the Frenchman continually linked with moves away ever since he made his return to the club in 2016.

Ralf Rangnick’s arrival as interim boss before moving into a consultancy role next year could throw Pogba’s future into further doubt, with the former RB Leipzig boss having not been entirely positive about the midfielder in some of his previous comments.

The 28-year-old’s club form compared to his showings while on international duty have proven to be a regular frustration for many supporters, and it’ll perhaps come as no surprise that his favourite moment of his career has come while with France.

Taking part in a video feature with Amazon Prime Video called “Confirm or Deny”, Pogba responded with confirm when asked whether winning the World Cup in 2018 was his best moment so far.

The midfielder gave the same response when asked whether he likes to prove his critics wrong, which United fans will hope he can do while still at Old Trafford.

Pogba also responded with “confirm” to the statements that he loves to spread positivity, and that his second favourite sport is basketball.

His one denial came when asked if Jesse Lingard is the best dancer in the United dressing room, with Pogba insisting the title should be handed to himself.
