Paul Pogba's treatment from Man Utd team-mates as Bruno Fernandes steals his limelight

Paul Pogba's Manchester United team-mates are treating him normally, despite his head not appearing to be at Old Trafford anymore.

That's according to former Red Devils defender Mikael Silvestre, who hopes Pogba's focus returns soon, as he'd love to see his compatriot play alongside Bruno Fernandes when the Premier League season resumes.

Pogba has missed much of the season with an ankle injury, which has kept him out of the squad since Boxing Day.

In this time United have signed Fernandes, who has hit the ground running since his move from Sporting Lisbon, and is now the star man at Old Trafford.

Fans are keen to see the World Cup winner play alongside the Portuguese, but Silvestre isn't convinced this is going to happen.

"We have to wait and see but it doesn't look like his head is at United any more, Silvestre told The Athletic's Talk of the Devils podcast. "I saw him before the lockdown and he looked happy, everyone is behaving like normal with him.

Bruno Fernandes has emerged as the club's star attraction (PA)

"He is part of United so if he was to stay there wouldn't be any issue, I just hope we see the best out of him.

"He should be at his peak right now with his age and his experience with United and France. It would be nice to see him in midfield with Bruno Fernandes."
