Mathias Pogba, the older brother of Paul Pogba, has revealed that the Manchester United man has yet to make a decision on his future.
Pogba is now into the final year of his contract at Old Trafford, meaning he can leave the club for nothing at the end of the season, and there are no one-year extension clauses in United's favour for the problem to be kicked down the road this time.
The Frenchman has been perennially linked with a move away from Old Trafford since he returned from Juventus in 2016.
And now a departure is a distinct possibility as he can begin pre-contract negotiations with non-English clubs from January onwards.
Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Juventus are the clubs most heavily linked with a move, though MEN Sport understands United are hopeful of keeping Pogba following the re-signing of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Mathias Pogba was a guest on the Spanish show El Chiringuito TV on Monday night and he revealed that his brother is 'feeling good' at United and that his future is not yet certain.
"Paul has not decided yet whether to stay or not next summer," he said.
"It’s his decision - he’s feeling very good at Man United now, this season… then let’s see. Let’s see when will be time to decide."
Pogba has made a sublime start to the season with seven assists in just four games and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes United can convince him to stay by being successful again.
"Yeah, well, it's up to us now to get results and to prove to ourselves we can win trophies," Solskjaer said. "Everyone who signs for Man United wants to win trophies. To be a part of a winning Man United, it's the most magical feeling in the world.
"Everyone's just focusing on doing our best and let's see where we go."
