Paul Pogba's brother provides update on Man Utd midfielder's transfer

Paul Pogba's older brother, Mattias, has provided an update on Real Madrid transfer interest.

The 28-year-old recently signed on a free transfer for CD Manchego Ciudad Real, who currently reside in Spain's Tercera Division (the fourth tier in the league system), departing Ligue 2 side Tours FC after one season.

Mattias has played for seven clubs since 2011, making 185 appearances, scoring 44 goals and making 21 assists.

Paul has two brother's, who are both older and play football. Florentin, Mattias' twin, currently plays for Atlanta United in the MLS.

In an interview with AS , the striker provided and update on his younger brother's transfer speculation.

"It's all just rumours at present and there's nothing I can do about that," the former Guinea international said.

"We're relaxed about [it]. If Paul moves to Madrid or not... so be it," the striker said after being asked how his family were dealing with the talk of a move away for his 26-year-old brother.

Los Blancos were embarrassed in the Champions Cup on Saturday after they lost 7-3 to Madrid rivals Atletico and the question was posed to Mattias whether Paul was the missing piece: "I didn't see the game but am aware of the outcome,"

"I feel my brother could assist with any team, if he comes to Madrid, then it will be to help the team.

"I always want what is best for him. If he feels Real Madrid is the best club for him, then he'll come," he concluded.

Pogba's focus has seemed to be on Manchester United's pre-season tour, during which he has impressed.

But, speculation surrounding Paul's future has been a long running story this summer as reports surfaced he was unsettled towards the end of last season.
