Paul Pogba's agent drops transfer bombshell to delight Tottenham fans

Football super agent Mino Raiola has told Manchester United that Paul Pogba wants to leave the club, with Real Madrid heavily-linked with the French midifelder.

Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen has also been listed as a target for Zinedine Zidane's side, following their capture of Eden Hazard from Chelsea earlier this summer.

After helping Spurs to the Champions League final last season, the Dane revealed his hopes to move on for a new challenge is a good enough deal were to come in for him.

Fans hoping that Mauricio Pochettino can keep hold of the former Ajax creator will be cheered by the latest comments from Raiola over Pogba's plans to move on from Old Trafford.

With over £300million already spent by Real in the current transfer window, it is unlikely that they would be able to sign both the United player and Eriksen, with the Dane tipped as an alternative option if Pogba were to stay in Manchester.

However, according to Raiola, United are already aware that the former Juventus player is ready to leave.

"Everyone within the club from the manager to the owner knows Paul’s wishes," he told The Times .

"Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on. We are in the process of that. Everyone knows what the feelings of Paul are."

Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have also been linked with Eriksen this year but both clubs have already signed midfielders this summer.

If Real were to be knocked out of the running for the Tottenham playmaker, it is likely that Spurs would stand a good chance of retaining his services for the 2019/20 season.

Dani Ceballos and Giovani Lo Celso have been linked as potential options to replace him if he were to leave Hotspur Way during the transfer window.
