Paul Pogba posts cryptic message as he prepares for Man Utd exit after new contract snub

Paul Pogba took to Instagram to share pictures of himself in training just hours after it was announced he has snubbed a new £50million contract to remain at Manchester United.

The France international has been linked with the Old Trafford exit every summer he has spent at Man United, with his agent Mino Raiola doing a lot of the talking for him.

But Pogba's actions have spoken for him on this occasion, with Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain ready to offer the Red Devils £45million to snap up the midfielder this month.

Pogba has just one year remaining on his contract at United, and it seems the Red Devils would rather cash in on their £89million record signing now rather than risk losing him on a free in 2022.

The midfielder is currently partaking in some warm-weather training in Miami, Florida ahead of the new Premier League season.

And he took to Instagram on Friday to post images of himself working hard in the sun.

Alongside the selection of six pictures showing him training both indoors and outside, the World Cup winner included the caption: "Do or do not. There is no try."

Quite why Pogba decided to quote none other than Star Wars character Yoda remains to be seen, but the post itself has been met with hundreds of replies from fans imploring him to remain at United.

Pogba was expected to leave Manchester United in January after his agent Raiola rocked Old Trafford top brass with the unexpected announcement that his client was unhappy at the club.

The Frenchman then went on a sensational run, helping the Red Devils reach the Europa League final and to a second-place finish, telling the press that contrary to the belief he is indeed happy at United.

United were hopeful they could tie Pogba down to a new deal to keep the 28-year-old on their books for the peak of his career and offered him a £100,000-a-week increase on his current £250,000-a-week wages.

But Pogba has turned down the offer and instead looks set to join PSG if they come up with the cash.
